The October 2022 newsletter: the Motion spirit in video

What does Motion do?

In 7 years of existence, Motion has gradually evolved its structure, its field of competence and expertise, and it is not uncommon for us to be asked today: What exactly does Motion Engineering do?
Design office? Suspension manufacturer? Well, a bit of both!
To explain dynamic as an innovation centre in the mobility and cycling world, rather than a full article, we preferred to share a video!
You can see what we do and understand our philosophy in just over one minute !

Are you looking for more comfort?

Reception of the first "La city" fork series

Just one year ago, we presented our prototype version of "La City" suspension fork at the Roc d'Azur Mountain Bike Exhibition, and this summer we announced that it would go on sale in the autumn. We are now happy to announce that "La City" is available in series!
During this past year and these key stages, we haven't stopped ! Fine-tuning the design, finding manufacturers for production, passing the 4210 standard tests... "La City" has passed all these stages!

We are proud to announce the signing of a partnership with the company Jtekt European. The Jtekt industrial site based in Irigny in our beautiful region is in charge of manufacturing our pulled blade. Cock-a-doodle-doo!
Cycling professionals, La City is ready for you if you are looking for an unequalled experience of comfort in an urban environment!

A reinforced team

To support a growth of more than 100% each year, MOTION Engineering France has recently recruited two new engineers.
Finan Levingston, a recent double graduate from INSA Lyon and Trinity College Dublin, wants to use his engineering knowledge in an area he is passionate about: sustainable mobility! It is therefore quite naturally that he decided to come to Motion! As soon as he arrived, he was already fully mobilized on the future of mobility: the cargo bike!
Paul Vital Durand, a graduate of ECAM Lyon, joined our team after completing his end-of-study internship with us. The "start-up" atmosphere, his passion for cycling and mechanics, and his desire to make things happen encouraged him to stay with Motion, this time on a permanent contract!
